In the 4th year of Medicine, the Department of Obstetrics is part of the course “Comprehensive Care for Women and Children Health”, giving theoretical-practical classes together with other departments of UNIFESP.
Obstetrics classes are taught throughout the year, on Thursdays, from 8am to 12pm. They are divided into practical and theoretical classes. See below the subjects of the classes:
Theoretical classes:
- Anamnesis, physical examination and diagnosis in obstetrics;
- Prenatal care;
- Subsidiary examinations;
- Ultrasonography.
Practical classes:
- Interaction with patients at the Obstetrics Clinic.
